Da der freiwillige Kohlenstoffmarkt weiterhin schnell w\u00e4chst, wurden Kohlenstoffgutschriften tokenisiert, um ihre effizientere, zuverl\u00e4ssigere und genauere Handhabung und Verfolgung zu erm\u00f6glichen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ein Token ist ein digitaler Verm\u00f6genswert, der durch einen Smart Contract in einem Blockchain-Netzwerk verwaltet wird. Token k\u00f6nnen Aktien oder Wertpapiere (Security Token), das Recht zur Teilnahme an einer Community oder zum Zugriff auf bestimmte Waren oder Dienstleistungen (Utility Token), Rohstoffe (W\u00e4hrungen), eindeutig identifizierbare, authentifizierte Verm\u00f6genswerte (Non-Fungible Token) und vieles mehr repr\u00e4sentieren. Die Erstellung eines Tokens zur Darstellung eines dieser Rechte oder Verm\u00f6genswerte wird als \u201eTokenisierung\u201c bezeichnet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tokenisierung von Emissionszertifikaten<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Die Tokenisierung von Emissionszertifikaten funktioniert wie folgt: Wenn eine Tonne CO2 (oder genauer gesagt die Emissionsreduzierung um eine solche Tonne) erfasst, gespeichert und gemessen wird und diese Messungen von einer validierenden Partei verifiziert wurden, wird ein entsprechender Token in einer Blockchain gepr\u00e4gt, der dies repr\u00e4sentiert. Ein CO2-Token kann ein nicht-fungibler Token (NFT) sein \u2013 wenn der Token eine \u201eeinzigartige Tonne\u201c erfassten CO2 repr\u00e4sentiert, die mit einem bestimmten Ort und Zeitpunkt verkn\u00fcpft und daher von anderen Token unterscheidbar ist \u2013 oder er kann eine fungible Darstellung einer Tonne CO2 sein.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nach der Pr\u00e4gung stehen die Token zum Kauf zur Verf\u00fcgung. Ihr Wert ergibt sich direkt aus den allgemeinen Marktkr\u00e4ften, die sich auf den Wert der CO2-Abscheidung und -Gutschriften beziehen. Nach dem Kauf kann ein CO2-Token vom Besitzer verbrannt werden, um seine eigenen CO2-Emissionen auszugleichen, oder wie jeder andere Token an einen neuen Token-Inhaber \u00fcbertragen werden. Die G\u00fcltigkeit des Tokens wird w\u00e4hrend seiner gesamten Lebensdauer und beim Wechsel zwischen Inhabern in der Blockchain verfolgt und verifiziert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

B\u00e4ume sind eine der gr\u00f6\u00dften Kohlenstoffsenken, da sie beim Wachsen CO2 aus der Luft aufnehmen und es sowohl ober- als auch unterirdisch (im Wurzelsystem) binden oder speichern. Daher k\u00f6nnten wir mehr B\u00e4ume pflanzen, Kohlenstoff binden und den gebundenen Kohlenstoff in Token umwandeln, die gehandelt oder gekauft werden k\u00f6nnen. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wie in Abbildung 1 dargestellt, bietet Coorest Kohlenstoff-Token namens NFTrees an. Coorest kauft, pachtet oder bindet Landwirte in vielen L\u00e4ndern, um B\u00e4ume zu pflanzen, die den Landwirten ein sicheres Einkommen bieten und gleichzeitig Kohlenstoff binden.
